Training Prerequisites:

 

  • Each Pilot:

    • Current third class medical or higher (except for Sport Pilot)

    • Pilot Certificate (Plastic)

    • Current Flight Review – Unless it's the purpose of the training.
    • Current government issued photo ID (Passport/Driver License)

    • Passport if landings occur outside the United States

    • FCC Restricted Radio Permit if landings occur outside the United States
    • Headset (I have my own.)
    • Current Charts for the intended airports/areas of operation

  • Each Instrument Pilot (as applicable)

    • Should be instrument proficient - Unless it's the purpose of the training.
    • View Limiting Device (hood – foggles etc.)
    • Current Databases for GPS/Navigation systems for operations in IMC
    • Aircraft VOR Check and GPS database update logs.

  • The Aircraft

    • Airworthiness Certificate

    • Registration Certificate (The Temporary Certificate (PINK) expires after 90-days.)

    • Pilots’ Operating Handbook

    • Required Supplements (as applicable)

      • GPS

      • Autopilot

      • MFD

      • Traffic System

      • Terrain System

      • Any additional installed items as required

    • FCC Radio Station License if landings occur outside the United States

    • Aircraft Maintenance Logbooks

      • Engine

      • Propeller

      • Airframe

      • Avionics if used

    • Weight and Balance

      • We will generate an electronic spreadsheet during the training
    • Aircraft Checklist
